Great area with lots of spaces for motorless boat launch. Fishing access, designated swimming areas, playgrounds, basketball court, and boat rentals at certain times.Plenty of room to barbecue , and some picnic areas if you are there early. Beautiful Alaskan scenery as well
Our family favorite for summer time swimming and BBQs. Love to fish and roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. The views are gorgeous and we definitely love the beach like feel. I would recommend anyone who wants to relax, this is the place.
This is my favorite place in the entire world, the winds are super strong at night in the winter and can turn your hot car cold but it’s extremely peaceful, you can think without being interrupted and you can hike in the snow and feel alive with the wind on your skin and the silence
