This is my favorite country park in the area. Nice camping, nice shower house, dump station. Electric sites, and non-electric, plus primitive camping. Nature trail and it connects to the Comet trail. The only time I've ever seen it packed is during the Gladbrook Corn Carnival.
Nice shelter, small playground, and picnic areas. Clean, newer bathroom facilities with showers.
I've been camping there since i was a kid in the late 1980s area.. they added disc golf this year. I haven't tried the course out yet.looking forward to it
Love the trails, bridges, open prairies, and quiet serenity. I live nearby and come here as often as I can. Must experience this place. The campgrounds are decent looking. Haven't stayed here, but they have RV hookups and updated bathrooms (Summer 2023).
