We live in the Sioux Falls area and this campground is one of favorites close to home. It's perfect for families with kids, great playground, swimming hole and paved bike paths. Plus all the pads are cement which is a huge plus. We visit River's Bend multiple times each summer! Highly recommend if your in the area.

The camping area was fine - nothing to write home about, no amenities that make it worth the cost. The water and electricity worked no issue. You can't access the lake from most sites - it's pretty overgrown.

The mosquitoes were an absolute nightmare. Literally so thick you couldn't breathe without eating them.

Finally, you have to pay $5 to bring a vehicle in. Even when you rented a trailer site. If you have a motorhome, still have to pay the extra $5 a day. It's just deceptive.

My Families first Camper event of the Summer. Marge, the camp host and crew were so friendly. Beautiful Campground with plenty of spaces between sites for a very reasonable fee. Trees are young so shade can be hard to get unless you have a awning. Bathrooms are both beautifully built, very clean and neat. There were lots of kids but never once had I thought it was noisy. Noise curfew stats at 11pm. It was very quite after that. Plenty to keep the Man Cubs busy. Swimming pond, 2 fishing ponds (we caught loads of Sunfish, Bass and yes, a few Bullheads), basketball hoops, lots of bike and walking trails along the river. It really is a great place. Just a short drive from Sioux Falls for us. Look forward to going back again. Its a great weekend get away. Only negative for us was the catch and release policy in the fishing ponds. Would of loved some fresh fish for supper.

A beautiful campground created on an old sand pit, it was a partnership between the city of Rock Valley and the family that owned the sand and gravel quarry. It features thee small ponds, two for fishing and one for swimming. It has concrete drives and pads, also has concrete bike and walking paths. There is also a playground and two sand volleyball courts. It is as clean as any campground. I love to take my family here

Great campground! Sites are spaced apart. Big rig friendly. Bath house/Restrooms are clean. Nice paved walking/bicycling path. The only con I can say if you don't like cattle farm odors, then you won't want to stay here. We would definitely recommend this park.
