Again, how is it possible for a state run campground, with thousands of people using the facilities, to have only ONE two lane entrance and exit? If it was a private venue, possible emergency evacuation would dictate a much different entrance/exit road.

What a joke!!! Called ahead told no problem lots of sites. Arrived and paid 32.00, given a map and told to look for a spot. Drove around for an hour no spots we could fit in with hook-ups. Never so happy to get out of a place!!! Didn't even stop to get my money back. Missed my scheduled tour of the Capitol. NEVER AGAIN, WHAT A DISORGANIZED MESS!!

For 2 weeks every August, We get the pleasure of spending time with our Iowa State fair friends and family. It’s a great feeling, being surrounded by people who love the fair as much as you do.

Wow! The hosts are AWESOME! Sooo nice to find a live body this time of year! Kathy gave us specific directions which led us directly to the Cg. Without her guidance we would of been lost :/. So go University to 30th, to Dean turn left. Go alllll the way up the hill turn into the Cg and go to the top of hill by blue shack. It was $32 for the evening. We have a pull through on grass. LOTS of rain so hope we are ok. It’s off season and they close Oct 16. Just made it in time. I would do this again. Full hookup!

A little confusing finding our spot but all is good
