The largest and most popular area managed by the Webster County Conservation Board is John F. Kennedy Memorial Park. Construction of Kennedy Park began in 1962 and the park was officially dedicated in 1965. This park is a 400 acre multiple use recreation area. The 53-acre Badger Lake provides the focal point for a wide variety of outdoor activities including camping, fishing, picnicking, hiking, canoeing and boating (no gas motors) as well as an the 18 hole Lakeside Municipal Golf Course.
Gorgeous park, well kept and clean! The girls played for hours non-stop because of all the equipment they have. I love the natural theme of the playground. Bathrooms were clean and there is a very clean swimming area we will also visit soon, too. Can't wait to go back!
Nice park with lots to see. Badger lake, walking trails, golf course, play ground equipment, shower house and bathrooms. No problem for my 36 ft travel trailer. 50 & 30 amp service. Most weekend sites are NOT full hookup. Fill your fresh tank to be safe.
Absolutely a clean and inviting park! Lots if trails, gold course, shelter houses, public bathrooms, boat docks, beautiful scenery, dog stations for picking up and tossing their business. Wonderful experiences every time!
