located on the southeast side of Marion, just west of Hwy. 13 off Hwy. 100, and south on Banner Drive.
Very nice area to camp. There are newer showers, playground equipment, and plenty of trails to hike. For those with dogs, there is also a dog park.
Can't wait to camp at Wanatee again!
I primarily use the MTB trails. LAMBA does a great job of building and maintaining them.
We had a wonderful reunion in loop A. All nice level cement slabs with full hookup. Great playground for all ages.
like the rest of Linn counties parks, it's a very nice place to camp. Not quite as well kept as Flying Squirrel but nice anyway. The A-loop reservation system however is jacked up. All A-loop sights are mostly booked for every weekend all summer, however many of the reserved sights often go un-occupied. Handy for the park because they collect their money even if you don't show up to use the site, but a bit unfair for those who want to actually use the campsites without having to plan a year in advance.
