This is a decent little park for tent camping. The upper part (higher off the river) is better than the part next to the water, which wasn't as well kept when we were there. Decent facilities. The driveways could really use some fresh gravel to fill in the mud holes. The boat ramp is a muddy mess if the river isn't high.
This place has always been my favorite place to go camping. Decent little park for the kids. Bathroom and showers are nice and clean.
Campground host is very nosey, acts like she has all the power, made it seem like an issue my family’s kids taking a shower was a problem cause “they were in there too long” we PAY to be here, what’s it to you to tell ANYONE how long they can and cannot be in there. Adults take longer then them, I’ve came here many times and have had to wait on them myself so I would know.
Not too big of of a campground, but it's just right. Quick stop at the boat ramp the other day out on tour. New new picnic tables on a slab of concrete in The Primitives is pretty nice.wish I had a picture.✌
Amazing staff were great with our second graders, showed us some cool things and the kiddos can't wait to come back!!
