From jct US 18 & Kentucky Ave: Go 6 blocks N on Kentucky Ave, then 1 block W on Birch Dr.
Great campground, right in the city, saw kids get on school busses in the am! Great for last min people like us, checkin box at office! Hook ups quick n easy with the pull through site. Lil one got up and enjoyed the huge playground! Great shape, wood construction, good size pea rock, well maintained! One of my favorite slides ive had to follow him down!!
Love that they have a shelter that fits the whole campground, mind at ease staying here! Water park not open so not sure how that would effect your stay but ours was short quick easy and very enjoyable!!
We came to Mason City for a PGI Convention, and we decided to stay here, instead of at the convention(too noisy, fireworks going off at all hours etc.). We had read some not so great reviews about the Campground, but, decided to give it a chance. We checked in with Larry(?), the owner, and he was extremely pleasant, with just a tad bit of sarcasm. Perfect! Needless to say, we were here for 7 nights, and besides the storms Mother Nature brought us, we were never woken up by rowdy, loud people(or anything, for that matter). Beautiful place, grounds always kept up, great owners, great neighbors.... I could go on and on! Oh, and you've GOTTA get one of the ice cream sandwiches from the office store!! Thanks for the great time, we will be back!!
Stay here one night, loved it so much we came back the next nite. Stayed in a tent site in our van. Nice large park to walk around.
