We came to Mason City for a PGI Convention, and we decided to stay here, instead of at the convention(too noisy, fireworks going off at all hours etc.). We had read some not so great reviews about the Campground, but, decided to give it a chance. We checked in with Larry(?), the owner, and he was extremely pleasant, with just a tad bit of sarcasm. Perfect! Needless to say, we were here for 7 nights, and besides the storms Mother Nature brought us, we were never woken up by rowdy, loud people(or anything, for that matter). Beautiful place, grounds always kept up, great owners, great neighbors.... I could go on and on! Oh, and you've GOTTA get one of the ice cream sandwiches from the office store!! Thanks for the great time, we will be back!!
