The staff lady in the store was extremely friendly! The park itself was ok. The loud people from 1am to 4am driving around and blasting music was uncalled for and no staff even tried to stop it. EVERY SINGLE outhouse was full and absolutely unbearable. Body fluids everywhere. Left the door open everytime. The smell alone traveled 5 to 6 sites down. I would have hated to be the site nearest to it. Not going back!
This was a horrible experience when we camped at Indiana Beach Campground this past Labor Day weekend. Restrooms were disgusting. Floors were wet and muddy. Toilet stalls were appalling and there was no toilet paper during our stay. Mold was in the shower. Garbage piled up.
WE WILL NEVER RETURN.
While the lots for camping are good, there is no help from staff to keep loud and noisy guests in check. Campers can blast music at all hours and have flood lights on and the staff will not prevent this type of activity. Not a great place for quite camping.
It's only 1 star because I had to pick something. This is the worst place we have ever camped. The group across the road from us played their music so loud we had to yell to speak to each other. We told security and they said they would talk to them, but can't really do much about it until after 11pm. Nothing changed. The first rule states to be considerate of others and lower the volume of your TV, stereo, and voices so level cannot be heard from another site. Outdoor stereos must be kept at a reasonable volume and must be turned off at 11pm. Their music was on and loud until almost midnight. They were still up and being loud at 3am. Will never return to this place.
Been coming here for close to 10 years. NEVER again. New management in and CHARLIE is the worst. Super inconsiderate, ruined our camping experience for the whole Labor Day weekend. We had a small golf cart incident where he states we couldn’t bring in rentals and yet they don’t rent them there anymore therefore you can only bring your own golf cart BUT when I called over the phone to reserve the spaces like I do every year and was told I had to bring my rented golf cart from somewhere else. So we did. A family of 30. We drove out of our way to pick up a few golf carts and haul them all the way here. Just for us to go in, within the same day they charged us for a golf cart fee, AND took our keys away because they do not accept rented golf carts EVEN THOUGH we were given the wrong information over the phone. So we lost hundreds of dollars on golf carts we couldn’t even use. So upsetting. Charlie did nothing to accommodate to us. Spoke to him a few times. Isn’t a man of his word. Speaks to you like you’re an idiot. Half way though our conversation he left us alone and sent his security guard to finish his conversation and we never saw his face again. Need better management who know how to deal with people and not just walk away. RUDE.UNPROFESSIONAL. BAD MANAGEMENT WONT EVER BE COMING HERE AGAIN. They lost customers of over 10 years. To yogi bear we go!
