Wonderful place to 🏕camp!!! We loooved our stay and have shared with others how great this place was. The kids had a blast making friends and riding bikes. The lake is beautiful, kids also loved the water slide. I didn't love that you had to pay to swim on top of camping there but it was only $4 a person. I happily donate to that super pretty beach. Petting zoo was cute. We had a fantastic stay and will return!!
I had higher expectations. Can not swim in the entire lake. Roped off area only. They said they only put sand in that area. Would have been better for my taste if I would have had more area to use. Nice staff.. Clean sandbank. I did not have time to tour the rest. Trails, cabins, petting zoo, etc. Good experience!
I grew up camping here. And going to the beach there. It has really been upgraded. Looking better all the time. We rented a cabin for a family gathering. It was nice. We were required to shuttle family from the front parking lot back to the cabin
We were only allowed 3 cars back there. We had 3 cars parked at the cabin and 6 cars.parked up front. I did not like this. However, I do not really have a suggestion to get around it.
I do think they do what they can at the park
I do recommend Scales Lake Park often!
