Beautiful!!! If you’re a photographer , and enjoy history.. you’ll have plenty that will catch they eye.

If you’re a parent, and want to teach your children about prairie history, FANTASTIC spot!!

There are SEVERAL trails, all from avid hiker to casually strolling. Donaldson Cave has quite a few stairs, and they can be wet, so be careful. We visited from San Diego, and as I’m a history buff, photographer, and designer… this experience was beyond words! The property is maintained, as are the trails. Far exceeded any expectations I may have had!

I adore Spring Mill. We go all year round. They always have something fun to do! If there’s not any events going on, they have the beautiful village to explore, and the Grissom Museum. Our kids always have a black splashing in the shallow areas of the creek.

We picked Spring Mill for a one night stay on a road trip. We glad we arrived just after 1:00. There is a lot to check out. The Gus Grissom Museum is filled with history. The early space capsule is a site to see.

We then drove down to the village. The log buildings were open and the staff were very knowledgeable. We were surprised to discover there was a distillery here. Some of the buildings were restored in 1929. - 1931.

The mill was one of the largest we’ve seen and it’s filled with historic displays.

We then checked out the Twin caves. There are more caves too. You’ll need at least a couple of days to see everything.

Our campsites were wooded and fairly level ground. The rest rooms were clean but older.

I've been here twice. Once in the summer a few years ago and it was so pretty and there were people to answer any questions. Then again this year in the fall and it was much less busy and the changing of the leaves on the trees had beautiful colors. Just gorgeous! There are also hiking trails of various sizes.

I love this park. So beautiful and so much to see! The pioneer village is great. The caves are too. I love all the trails and the lake. One of my favorite parts is the Gus Grissom memorial where you can see an actual space capsule. Amazing place!
