For $15/night (tent) you get the bare minimum amenities. It probably would be fantastic if you weren't in a tent. Not a bad place for the night, though. Wasn't overly busy at the end of June 2022.

Positives:

Cheap

Right by historic attractions

Hot showers

Plenty of sites to choose from

Friendly staff

Plenty of light at night for safety

Electric, water & showers

Negatives:

One shower head was broken (women's bathroom)

Another shower drain filled up the bottom of the stall within 5 mins or so (women's bathroom)

NOISY (all hours of the night)

The street lights are BRIGHT (nice for safety, but not for tent sleeping)

Pics are mostly of the women's bathroom when we first arrived and before I realized the issues. Not a bad place for cheap but definitely could use some sprucing up.

Can’t beat the convenience and price. Stayed 2 nights, had a full hook up, water pressure was great. Will definitely use this campground again when passing through town. We chose our own site, some are more level than others but really not an issue. Heard a couple of trains pass by in the evening. The parking lot (we chose to park in) was empty when we went to sleep and full of cars the next morning. Wasn’t expecting it but also not a problem for a couple day lay over. There were other areas we could have parked that might have been more private, the man in the office said they have 1100 sites here.
