We camped at the park. It was very clean. The kids loved the swimming pool. I wish we could have had more time to spend there.

The 1st night my son and I heard what we thought to be a mountain lion. It was around 4 am

Good electrical sites for camping with mature trees. Nice little cliff area for a quick hike.

My daughter and I absolutely love Dixon Springs! It's one of our favorite places in southern Illinois. The waterfall flows best after some good rain, pictures were taken after we had several inches of rain.

Good people when it's full, no people when it's the off season. The place is well kept and quiet even when folks are around.

Only real issue are the bugs. Lot's of stink bugs that like to hang out on your tent, so bring the raid. Bugs are to be expected though.

Overall excellent park!
