Well maintained grounds with ample space to serve many functions.
We go every year to watch the Derby. They have carnival rides for all ages. Games with excellent prizes. They have taffy candy apples funnel cakes egg rolls you name it they got it. All at a very reasonable price as well.
Great place to take your kids and family. The Crawford county fair is usually a good clean and safe place to bring the family for a good evening of family fun. Its also a great place for kids to see other kids who are in 4H and learn about animals and what it takes to be a member. I know that my kids and their friends are always excited about fair week and competing against each other at the fair. There's so many things going on at the fair each night for all age groups.
I have spent many Hours at the Crawford County Fairgrounds... usually as a Visitor during the Oblong Oil Field Heritage and Gas Engine Show held every Year during August.
While that Show is a Real Hoot (and I Definitely Recommend coming to Oblong to be a Part of it), Yesterday I traveled Here with a Different Purpose, and was Guided and Benefited by the Expert "Pilotage" of a Very Special Friend.
