Owners are great, the food in the restaurant is wonderful. Bathrooms and showers look clean, we just used our trailer. They also have port o potty throughout the camp.
Most of the sites are permanent sites, seem well kept.
Stalls are available for your horses as well.as highline poles. Stalls have mats, you don't have to use bedding, the camp does not provide or sell bedding so bring your own if you want it. There is a TSC and Rural King in Harrisburg, about 20 minutes away.
Several trails head out from camp. The main issue is that you aren't as close to the pretty rocks, bluffs, etc. To get to Garden of the God's and back will take about 24 or 25 miles. A lot of the people with permanent sites just trailer to the other areas.
Nothing bad to say about the camp or Owners, we had a pleasant stay.
Love this place, awesome owners, awesome restaurant/bar and awesome trails❣️ Stalls are excellent, easy pull in and out for big rigs, some sites have nice shade, 15, 16, 17. Nice shower house, electric and water w/ dump station.
Really regret not stopping the last time I was thru here. Hamburger Steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, Homemade Potato Salad, Thunder and Lightning (cucumbers, onions, tomatoes) and Seasoned Texas Toast.
