It's a Lock and Dam a rather small one and out of date but it's still a Lock and Dam

Good place to get away from things and too watch the towboats coming into the lock.

It's an interesting place to watch the barges lock through very small antique locks that's needed to be replaced for years

A cool view of Quincy, peaceful, picturesque. Just past the dam there is a public parking lot to your right where you can climb onto a balcony for a better view of the dam and watch barges going through. At the end of Martindale Rd, there is a parking lot where you'll often find Bald Eagles. There is a little area to walk along the bank when it isn't flooded, and it's a decent area to fish.
