This is a small, quiet two-unit dispersed camping area located in the Paddy Flat area. Adjacent to Rapid Creek. Tables, fire rings and toilet available on site.
Good access to the reservoir with some shade trees. Tons of mud, dust, and trash. Very little respect for this place. Could be nice if it was maintained. However, the waterline will always be muddy. No nice beach.
Arrive early & set up your campsite before the crowds arrive! Everyone was respectful of others’ sites but it does get crowded & busy for dispersed camping. Beautiful location & worth the longer drive to the end of the reservoir.
The restrooms are atrocious. The flys simply make it not worth using. The campgrounds are quite nice. Tree's and close to the water which was absolutely perfect. It was lovely. And camping with no TV, no phone ECT was a godsend. I highly recommend going and enjoying the time spent there.
Enjoyed our stay until some lovely person peed all over the floor in bathroom. Felt sorry, for the cleaning crew . Watch out for nails in your tires. Decent fishing good swimming area for families noise from the road really isn't to bad. Bring your tp bathroom is always out. Please, please clean up after yourself not sure why that is hard for some :( overall pretty good place. .
