Great place for fishing, you can catch any thing from Trout, Bass, or Bluegill. Take your family or friends have fun on this lake, along with enjoying the great outdoors.
A very beautiful place with small town charm. Sadly, it's already being transformed into every other progressive tourist town with out of state absentee home owners, rainbow flags replacing American flags, and yard signs advertising allegiance to the failed Philosophies and bad ideas which forced the new residents to flee California and move here.
The water level was extremely low, which enabled my wife and I to find some garnets all along the lake shore. Camping pull offs all along the road with private areas. We'll be back!
Camped here a couple nights in the trailer. These are just roadside pull off campsites. Quite a bit of ATV and truck traffic. This is endowment land and dispersed camping. Unfortunately this area has been heavily used and abused. If you go here please do a little clean up- pick up some extra trash and leave it better than you found it otherwise we will lose the use of this area - it will be shut down. We saw two abandoned dumped trailers left for authorities to deal with. This is exactly how we lose use of public lands. When we stayed the lake was near empty and there was a lot of old dead log debris along the shoreline making access difficult.
Lovely little lake! We had the place mostly to ourselves and were even alone for about 20 minutes. I have added this to my list of places to go back to for sure! Did see snags jutting from the water in spots but didn't smack my oar on anything. I didn't use the restrooms while there but looked to be vault and was happy to see them!
