The Sawtooth National Forest is a very special place in the heart of Idaho. The forest is home to deer, elk, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, gray wolves, wolverines, black bears, salmon, and many species of birds also thrive here. Trails campgrounds, wilderness, rivers, and scenic drives give visitors plenty of opportunities to connect with this extraordinary land.
Beautiful, accessible location on the river looking towards the mountains. Quiet and clean.
We didn’t actually camp here, only stopped by to check it out. I just remember the scenery is beautiful but there wasn’t anyone there to talk to. We just took a look at it. Seems nice.
Nice little spot. It looks like they have gone in and torn up the ground as part of a reclamation project. Too many people destroying Idaho lands so they are trying to undo the damage left and let the area reclaim itself.
