Homestead RV Community is a unique experience in the Mobile, Alabama area dedicated to satisfy the specific desires of the discriminating RV owner.
The amenities that separate Homestead RV Community from other RV parks are immediately apparent when you turn West off of the busy Dauphin Island Parkway onto tree lined Bay Road to travel 7 tenths of a mile to Pioneer Road. The entrance to Homestead RV Community is one hundred feet South on Pioneer Road. Both Bay and Pioneer Roads are black top, but with so little car traffic, they are safe for bicyclist. Homestead RV Community is a distinctive RV campground nestled in a quite intersection reminding everyone of a quiet, country environment. A true feeling of safe, wholesome, clean, laid-back country living, where large Oak trees surround a stocked fishing pond, oversized RV sites are filled with friendly neighbors, and onsite staff know and care about each other. Located in beautiful Mobile, Alabama, Homestead RV Community is the perfect RV campground for the RV camping enthusiast.
What an excellent campground! There is a nice grassy space between each site and long, wide concrete pads. They have a laundry room, restroom and showers, a community fire pit, a cornhole game, a stocked fishing pond, a playground and a nice fenced dog run.
The camp hosts are friendly and helpful and we also met the nice owners.
The campground is very well maintained and fairly new.
It is located approximately 20 minutes from Dauphin Island and an easy drive to Mobile.
We would definitely return next time we are in the area.
This RV community has exceeded our expectations. It’s like being at our home base but warmer than home in the winter months!
Ed, the owner, greeted us upon our arrival, directed us to our site, helped us get parked and then proceeded to fill our very own private hot tub—the one thing we miss when we’re away from our home base. There is an extra charge but well worth it.
If you love seafood, there are lots of options. Dauphin Island is just a short 20 minute drive.
Great RV community. Nice big lots very well maintained. The concrete pads are all level which makes it a breeze to park with lots of space between each site. There are lots of areas to walk and play with our dogs which we appreciate. The owners - Ed and Monica are friendly and accommodating. The camp hosts with always helpful and friendly. We will be back.
This relatively new park is well designed, very clean and expertly managed. The owners and camp hosts are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests' needs are met. They make the most of the current amenities and have exciting plans for expansion. The park is located in a quiet area with easy access to many site seeing and shopping options. The owners do a great job of communicating with guests and arranging fun activities. We highly recommend Homestead RV Community if you are planning to stay in southern Alabama.
A nice private like setting with plenty of amenities. The sites are roomy and everything is well kept. The owners or hosts are always nearby and willing to help with anything you may need. My daughter loves the park and riding her bike around. She's a social butterfly and all the neighbors have been so kind to her. We feel very safe here and have loved the convenience of being so close to Dauphin Island for those nice beach days! This place is a gem, you have to come check it out! A great place to stay awhile!
