About Campground

Welcome to Hidden Mountain Resort, the original Log Cabin Resort in the Smokies! Since 1981, our family has been blessed to welcome guests from all over the world to our beautiful hometown of Sevierville, TN. We truly have something for everyone!

What makes Hidden Mountain stand apart from other cabin rental companies in the Smoky Mountains? We’re glad you asked!

1) We are a Resort! While many rental companies manage cabins spread throughout the county, we focus on only 2 locations, Hidden Mountain East and Hidden Mountain West. Our onsite office at Hidden Mountain East is open 24/7 (except Christmas Day and Easter Sunday). We look forward to greeting you in person and being here for you if you need us with our onsite maintenance & housekeeping facilities. And have you seen the Resort Amenities exclusive to guests of Hidden Mountain? We know you’ll love splashing into the pools or feeding the fish in the ponds!

2) We are Family-Owned, Operated, and Celebrated! Butch and Brenda Smith built, decorated, and sold almost all of the uniquely-themed Cabins, Cottages, Villas, and Event Venues on our Rental Program. Brenda Smith is still our Broker and Manager. Many extended family members and friends work with us here at Hidden Mountain Resort- several for more than 25 years! We are so grateful for our loyal team, and our team is so grateful for you!

Thank you for choosing Hidden Mountain Resort! We look forward to welcoming your family as you Rent Your Own Cabin in the Smokies!

We stayed at Cabin #4095 - Blessings & Dreams. (Sept. 18-21, 2023) What an absolutely beautiful place. It was totally decorated in all the fall colors with the most adorable bears and decorations throughout. I know it will be even more gorgeous for Christmas. Comfortable king-size bed and anything you would need for your stay. Oh and don’t forget about the hot tub on the screened in back porch or just swing/rock on the front porch. Can’t wait to go back!!

My family recently had a 1st cousin reunion held here with family coming from Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, and South Carolina.

The beauty of resort was wonderful. The cabin that I stayed in (4029) had some issues addressed during my stay. The cabin was nice but little things did not get address by the staff, because the cabin rented was privately owned.

Dirty utensils and dishes were the first discovered. Remotes with no backs covering the batteries. The pool table was in decent shape but the cue sticks available didn't have tips, as well as the darts to be able to play. The stack chairs on the back deck need replacing and were not usable.

Overall it was a good experience that is why I am giving it 5 stars for service (office staff) and location.

Stayed here 27 years ago for My Anniversary. Stayed many times since. This was our 4th year in a row never any issues until now and it has been handled poorly. We left early due to roaches. The ladies at the front desk offered another cabin but my wife and I were out because of the cleanliness issue that could be in other cabins. I have asked for the owner to contact me. I have emailed and I have facebook messaged, and no response. This has been since January 6th. I guess as long as you have no issues your good...?? Im still currently pursuing the issue especially that they are not even responding

(Update) I have removed the cabin address as I have been able to speak to the actual owners who seem to be great people. They are having the same issues with Hidden Mountain Resort that the customers are, so it is not their fault and are having meetings with them. It is very apparent that it is management-customer service issues which isn't good.

We just left our stay here and absolutely loved it! We stayed in Fox Cove and it was a beautiful, clean, spacious cabin. There was a wedding party in the cabin down the hill from us that kept music on a little too late and loud on their patio that was easy to hear from our master bedroom, but all in all we absolutely cannot wait to vacation on the property again! It was close to everything we wanted to do and made our trip easy and comfortable.

I would certainly recommend this place. It is definitely a better option than hotels in the area. For the same price as a hotel room, you can get a cozy and large cabin for you and yours. We have rented cabins here for two years now, and each time has been a pleasure with no real complaints. Would recommend. Plus, they are not afraid to let us know that they share the same values as us. This place is a big W 👍
