Great Family Area! No entry fees Monday-Wednesday.

Parking was just a few feet from the water and has a great jungle gym. No swings though. The park Ranger gives a 30min notice before closing beach area. Mostly Sandy bottom. The beach area has about a 2 feet concrete wall you have to climb down surrounding most of the area but at the far end in front of the play area it is flat. Incredible day with my 2 1/2 years old. Highly recommend.

Amazing patrol person! Him and his wife were extremely friendly and kind! They are the definition of southern hospitality! I was metal detecting and found a lot of good stuff! I’m definitely coming back here! Great job guys!!

Absolute chaos. Nice parking lot and ample picnic tables and shade shelters but garbage and debris everywhere, everything smells like fish and flies everywhere! Fun if you have kids, but not if you want a nice relaxing day at the water
