We are the only intimate outdoor resort with a private lake in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota where people can relax, disconnect and enjoy life in a natural setting! We are a disconnected campground (no cable, no wifi in the campground area or cabins but great cell phone coverage) so you can reconnect with yourself, you family, and your friends!
Had a blast and the staff is awesome. This will become a tradition for us during Labor Day weekend. Clean, quiet, and clear water to swim in. Hot Springs is a cool town and access to the Black Hills is excellent.
The customer service at Hidden Lake was outstanding. We had reserved an RV spot and on our way to the campground we had automotive issues. The owners were kind enough to drive me into town to the auto parts store to get the items needed to get back on the road. They did this when the roadside assistance I paid for was unable to quickly get any help. I am truly grateful for their aid! Regarding the campground and facilities, they were all wonderful. There was a small playground that all of my kids thoroughly enjoyed! The lake was nice and provided a scenic walk to relive the stress of the day! The bath house was clean and comfortable. I wish we would have had more time to rent a kayak or canoe, because the kids would have loved that too. Again, I cannot recommend Hidden Lake highly enough!
This is a hidden gem! Wow I was so impressed with the grounds, the Rv hook up and the lake. I kept continuing my stay it was so great. There is a lot of unique things to do in the town of hot springs. I enjoyed the camp ground having walking trails. Every evening I was able to sit on the hill in a quiet and peaceful place to meditate. The lake is super clear and feels amazing, I felt like the water was healing. There is water sports activities to rent. There is cute cabins if you don't have an RV. There is laundry and a store to get things you need. My dogs loved going walking around the lake and the trails. I felt like I was in a high end resort with all the amenities. The price is rather cheap for what all your getting. The views and the environment are very peaceful! If your looking for a place in the black hills this is one that is worth the drive from the parks and gives you so much serenity.
We stayed in the RV area - it’s crowded and the neighborhood dogs bark constantly especially at night. The pull thru pads are not flat. And they are way to close to each other. But they are long enough for our 40’trailer and car trailer too.
The lake looks nice. The road up to the camp is gravel and has quite a slope.
The cabins look good. The lay room and baths were clean.
My best friend and I stayed here during the last week of the season and everything about this place is awesome! The owner is the nicest lady and the campground and cabins are all very nice and clean. The cabins have everything you need (just bring food) and the beds are so comfortable and cozy! All the amenties were great! The lake is peaceful and quiet. This place is a slice of heaven. New favorite vacation spot. Will definitely be back next year!
