Although the town is just across the street, we're flanked by two city parks and backed by the famous French Creek. The Mickelson trail passes right in front of us, so you can hop on your bike, or walk the entire length of the Black Hills from here. We have shade, grass, and wild turkey and deer are frequent visitors. You can hear the big cats doin' their thing..some guests have even seen them up on the ridge.
You might like to hang around for our impromptu potluck barbecues on the patio. Stay for a day, or stay long enough to soak up the relaxing pace and down-home friendliness here in Custer.

Going south out of Hill City on 16/385, approximately 13 miles upon reaching the stoplight at Mt. Rushmore Rd. at the bottom of the hill, turn right, and go one block to 4th St, turn left, and go to the 1st driveway on your left and you are here!
After a month long stay here, we don't want to leave. Lauren and her husband live on site and are alway accommodating to our every need. This RV park is a block away from downtown, several restaurants, a grocery store, etc. It is also very pet friendly with walking trails, a park across the street with doggie poo bags available at several locations. Leashless dog park within walking distance. The bath house is really nice and very clean with 2 private areas that include a toilet, sink and shower. We can't wait to come back. THANK YOU LAUREN!!!
Nice little campground right in town and along the bike trail. Very friendly on site manager. We have a pickup camper and our lovely creek side site had a 30 amp hook up. Great base camp for walking around Custer, biking, or motorcycling in the Black Hills.
Great location within easy walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops. Not very many sites so plan ahead and make reservations. The manager, Lauren, is very helpful and easily accessible. Stayed here 12 years ago and had a great experience. The property is well-maintained and did not disappoint.
Great place to park your RV. Hooks ups and showers. They do not have any laundry service on site. There is a laundromat within walking distance. Lauren and Steven were so accommodating. The showers are clean and the location is very quiet. Rates are the lowest in the area. Cute town and drivable to all attractions.
