From US Highway 14 A at Savoy take Forest Service Road 222 or Roughlock Falls road to the east. Campground is approximately 2.5 miles.
Seven camp sites: first come first served. Our site had enough room for two larger and one smaller tent. Large, sturdy picnic table and fire ring. Hand-cranked pump delivered cool, tasty water with a bit of effort. One pit latrine for the campground. Most sites have very little shade.
Beautiful campground, peaceful. We were in site #7 which is situated next to the creek. Fell asleep each night to the sound of the water and cool air coming in the windows. Rimrock hiking trail cuts through campground and was an awesome hike with stunning views and scenery, if your so inclined.
The campground was really nice. The only downfall was not much shade at some of the sights. The gentleman that took care of the grounds was super nice. He lived on our puppies and saved the night by delivering wood to all of us. We ran out..
