About Campground

HICKORY OAKS IS THE KIND OF DESTINATION…

…for those looking for a retreat alternative in the Oshkosh area. While staying in the Fox Valley for the numerous music and sporting events, parks, museums, and downtown shopping experiences, Hickory Oaks provides an optional family camping environment. Imagine your family setting up camp nestled within a woods of majestic oak and hickory trees, surrounded on the east side by a spring-fed, 4-acre lake — *and all within a few short miles of area entertainment!*

We wholeheartedly welcome and value retiree “snowbirds” during the “kinder months” in Wisconsin, too!

Clean campground , noise surrounds . It's by oshkosh so have all traffic and interstate real closed. Little to much barking ..

We camped in our tent and had no neighbors, which was nice. It’s a small campground with a little pond for swimming and nice bathrooms at the office building. They have porta-potties interspersed around the grounds if the office is too far. Super helpful in getting us in last-minute and it was a cozy stay. Make sure to look at a map of the grounds so you know where to park.

Helpful and friendly staff in a pretty setting. Some sites are closer together than others, but all of the front sites have electric and water. Got a site in a stand of oaks so we had shade on our camper all day (which in the heat that was great). Walked around the dry camping area and it looked nice too. Pond was fun for a little fishing and turtle watching. Would stay again as a basecamp in the Oshkosh area.
