The staff is nice but we sorta felt deceived when we got there. Don’t be deceived by the pictures on the website of the pool and mini golf course - the pool is empty and that - along with the mini golf course and the playground - are over grown with weeds. All look like they haven’t been maintained in years which means they must’ve taken the pictures years ago and they still have them in their website. Our kids brought their swim suits and were all excited to swim and play mini golf. The little cabins were nice though. And this last part is just my preference - but all the campsite were grass (no stone), which is nice, but when you think about that practically - it’s not. Think about it - 1) no one can possibly keep after the mowing over the entire campground or in each campsite (with all the stuff people have on their campsite (lawn chairs, fire rings, ice chests etc. )) and it shows. 2) grass is wet in the morning and after sunset, so if you want to walk to the bathhouse anytime before noon you better be prepared for your shoes to get soaking wet.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. This isn't Vegas and not every campground is a five star. The owner was so nice to. Us. We arrived late Friday and the kids wanted to hit the park before it closed. I went to hook up the power and realized I didn't have the right adapter. The owner told us to go to the park and he'd take care of it. We got back from the park and the right adapter was hanging on my camper door. He ran to Walmart for us. What a great gesture. Campground was clean and that's what's important to me. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to stay here.

Took a Last minute trip to Hershey park, all of the "major" campgrounds were booked; they had a spot available & for what we did this weekend, this campground was perfect! We have a travel trailer so we just wanted full hookup since we had plans to be at H.P. Now, campground is very old but from what we saw it was clean... Sites are large & the pool was clean ...quietest campground we've ever been too...Workers were very helpful... IF you're looking for the campground that is busy, activities for kids, up-to-date environment/equipment this campground isn't for you, keep looking BUT, if you're like us, looking for some place to lay your head then this works!

The cabin was great, the view and location of it was wonderful. We had 2 families in 2 cabins. All of us really enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond, we bought a loaf of bread just for them! The ice cream and coffee in the camp store were fresh. Dave was super helpful with everything from reservations to what chocolate tour to take, to making us coffee, and he was so very nice. Bathrooms were good enough. This is not the ritz, it is an older campground, but we really enjoyed it and will be back.
