From US Rt. 30 on the South West side of York: Turn South onto Rt. 616 (Trinity Rd. or York New Salem Rd.) then IMMEDIATELY (200') turn LEFT onto Woodberry Road. Proceed past that barricade on Woodberry Road 1/4 mile. See our Ben Franklin RV Park sign on the left. Turn left into our entrance and STOP in front of our office located on the right to register and/or receive park information.
We stayed there this past weekend, we will not be staying there again. There is no management on site, no one on site. We had a problem with the water hook up ,no fire pit and no picnic table. so we called the campground phone number and they said they would try to get someone to come out to fix the water issue. About 45 minutes later someone came out, brought a fire pit fixed the water hook up issue but said there were no picnic tables available. The campsites are on top of each other. This campground is very neglected which is ashame because it could be a nice place.
OK campground, convenient location, amazing 5g cell service AT&T. Nice venue for events, there was a wedding when we arrived. Surrounding area and some sites could use some TLC. Nice size lots. This campground worked well for us.
We stayed here for just over 3 months starting mid October 2021 while I worked at Wellspan Hospital, which is only about 10 minutes away. The park is clean and safe. My kids enjoyed going up and down the stairs to the clubhouse as well as the chair swings and gazebo. Fall was beautiful. Easy drive to Gettysburg, Harrisburg, and even Hershey as we did our fair share of exploring while here. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Would return!
Management is great here. Grounds are well maintained. Clean Buildings. Spots are roomy and I even got the new memorial site. The water is good. Bath house is in great shape. Laundry is nice and newer machines. Plenty of parking and the tree swings are a nice touch. Could use a playground for children.
This is a nice little park that is located just outside of the main part of York Pennsylvania. This is a great campground for people who are working for travel as there are no real amenities other than laundry facilities, and a public shower house. This may not be the fanciest place you ever stay, but it is quiet other than some road noise that is honestly not that bad. They are pet friendly, and we stayed here with three dogs.
