Harvest Village is an agritourism business - the 2 parts of this word reflect the two aspects of our business. First we are a small organic farm, second we host farm stay guests. We are located in beautiful Northern Michigan. Fresh air, organic gardens, humanely raised animals and natural beauty are all available for our guests’ enjoyment. Harvest Village offers a unique camping experience. With only 4 campsites you can enjoy quiet privacy and beautiful Farm views. You also have the option of delicious Harvest Village breakfasts to start your day.
1. RV Sites: Includes: Water and Electric. Bathroom and Shower available.
2. Improved Campsites: Includes: Water and Electric. Bathroom and Shower available.
We are located just off US 131 midway between exits 162 and 168.
We came here to tent camp which brought us in the area to visit the Manistee National Forest and the sand dunes. They host tent campers, RVs and run a bed and breakfast. You can book a space through their website or hipcamp.com They provided a fire pit, wood, and lodge bathrooms. We chose to have breakfast provided which was a reasonable additional fee. Breakfast Incorporated their fresh farm eggs, coffee, and delicious apple butter spread for the toast which I highly recommend.
Great place to stay. Very county and my husband got to watch a sheep round up. We had a very good visit. You can buy Pork raised on the small farm and jelly/jams
Our stay at Harvest Village was amazing! Restful, Peaceful and all on a beautiful property. We stayed in the gorgeous Saw Mill Suite, very spacious and comfortable!
And the local, homegrown, organic food is delicious! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and reasonable get away! We look forward to returning for many more visits:)
This is a Harvest Host site and they gave us a comfortable spot to park our van in July 2020. They sell their own pork products and serve breakfast at your vehicle which is delicious. Friendly cheerful and a delight to visit in a perfectly serene and gorgeous setting. The dirt road access is well maintained and poses no difficulties.
This is a great HH location. Dan and Arlene welcomed us immediately upon arrival. After setting up, we toured the property with Dan. Sheep, goats, chickens, and pigs can be viewed. They are remodeling many of the old buildings so there is much to look forward to. Both sites are pull through sites. Breakfast is available for $12 per person . It was delicious and very filling. We also bought some pork sausage while we were there. They also have various cuts of pork, jams in and jellies, and other assorted merchandise. Looking forward to returning.
