Great river launch with some good day trip pull out locations.
Great launch into the great Manistee River. One of my favorite places to on the river for a great float downstream.
Careful there is a ten inch plus ledge off the end of the launch ramp. If you back your trailer off the end it's not easy to get the tires back on the concrete launch. Winch your boat up onto the trailer, don't try to float it on.
You need a park permit to leave your vehicle there and just to use the launch now. The DNR is posting all parking areas and boat launches
