About Campground

Pine Lake Campground is located on the shores of beautiful Pine Lake. The east side of the lake is mostly privately owned and has many cabins. The west side is federally owned and is swampy and has been occupied by bald eagles over the years. The beach off the picnic area is shallow for a long distance out and gravel bottomed, and is good for swimming.

Directions

From Brohman, MI, take State Rt. 37 north 2 miles to 11-Mile Rd. Turn west onto 11-Mile Rd. and go 4.5 miles to Nichols Lake campground sign. Turn right onto Forest Rt. 5140 and go 0.7 miles to campground.

Lake is crystal clear. No one else on the lake. SUP around the lake was great. Winds got a bit strong but it was easy to walk with the boards around the lake when we couldn’t paddle against it.

*** PINE LAKE CAMPGROUND ***

In Northwoods’ heart, Pine Lake’s embrace,

A campground tucked in a tranquil space.

Eerie, mystic, by a lake so still,

A place where time seems to stand at will.

The staff and folks, so warm and kind,

Rare gems of people, you’ll surely find.

From paper towels to decor so fine,

Every detail whispers “It’s sublime.”

Though this year kept me far away,

In my heart, Pine Lake will always stay.

A tranquil haven, a serene retreat,

Where memories and nature truly meet.

For all ages, a safe, enchanted zone,

Pine Lake’s charm has clearly shown.

In this review, let it be known,

A place of wonder, a second home.

Sincerely, Bs
