I have been here 5 months, and have had nothing but a good experience, from the peacefulness to the attentive support from management. Great place to stay. I’ll definitely come back.
I have enjoyed staying at Happy Joy Acres for the last couple months. With a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, this campground is a great place to stay!
Not like the photos on the internet. She was nice but once we arrived it looked like a total trash hole. Don't give her any money. buyer beware. Very tight place I ask for a concrete pad I got not even a place big enough to put a picnic table on. She will lie to you. And steal your money.
Very friendly and helpful owner. So willing to help with our needs and made things so much easier for us coming in late at night. It's very nice having full hookup and water this time of year. Also nice and quiet. Thanks so much!
Happy Joy Acres is easily accessible but is not one of those stark campgrounds with no trees. It is minutes from the lake and has beautiful tall trees that provide shade and privacy. If you’re looking for a place ti call home if you are going to be working in the area of Topeka, Lawrence or Jefferson County, it has easy access in major roads to all of these places. Long stays are allowed.
Joy, the owner of the campground is easy to work with and as honest as they come. She is always striving to make improvements and make her campground even better! Highly recommend Happy Joy Acres!
