Loved it! Beautiful scenery. The site was clean and everyone was friendly. Well water, vault toilets and dumpsters available. I recommend Lodgepole at Jefferson!
Campground was clean, other campers were pleasant, had a water pump, really enjoyed camping here, bathrooms were close and clean also.

Worst camp ground I’ve seen after living in Colorado for 6 years. Spots couldn’t be more crammed together. We could see 7 spots from our site. The redneck “hosts” run their rv generator the WHOLE night. The redneck “host” also came over to our camp site and stood hovering over it for 10 mins to ask “do we need anything at dusk”? (What on earth we need at 8pm). We already had bought their small bundle of firewood for $25. It was extremely invasive and I would not feel safe being a women there alone unless I had a gun with a host like that. It set our dogs off barking since it was dusk and a scary man was standing there staring at us. Then he had the audacity to yell at the dogs for barking. Just a money-grubbing over packed camp ground. There are probably 500 spots near by that are better
Clean, pet friendly and restrooms everywhere. Reservations required for overnight. Day pass available at the gate.
