We stayed for the night before visiting the canyon. The facilities are well maintained. No bugs on light fixtures, no spider webs. Heater working, hot water working well. Super quiet (taking into consideration it is winter and barely anyone there). Washing machine and dryer available. Good parking spaces.

We had a wonderful stay at Florence Marina State Park while exploring Providence Canyon. The main attractions are the campground and the marina that gives you access to the Chattahoochee River. The bathrooms were very clean and had two washers and two dryers. We had great conversations with the camp host at the campground. They were very helpful and friendly. Nice quiet park. The sites need some work, though, pinestraw and leaves could be cleaned up better, and actual sites are all grass with no concrete area to park your camper. Some sites are uneven and hold water when it rains. There is a small mini golf course and swings that overlook the lake. Also, there are a few nice trails and areas to walk your dog. There are a few small areas to fish from, and fish cleaning houses too. They have a clubhouse that is available for rental.
