Beautiful campground, the area has meadows and a forest trail and a lovely lake. The bathhouse is super clean and really nice as are the showers. The staff and kind and very helpful and friendly-they will come help you even if you check in after hours. The RV spots are all fairly level, nicely shaded, and there is a good amount of space between sites which helps make the area peaceful, quiet, and fairly private. The surrounding area has an apple orchard where you can pick your own apples and a wonderful river where you can go tubing during parts of the year.
I love this campground. We have been goin since we got property in Ellijay. It's kid & dog friendly. Beautiful view great prices just an all round beautiful campground! They have a dog play area, dog bath area even with hot/cold water . A big field for kids to run around play ,corn hole,horse shoes are also set up . You can swim or fish in the water. Each campsite has a fire ring & picnic table.
Truly the best kept secret!!! We came with our RV to the campground and parked in spot #34, which was just perfect, surrounded by tall trees, very close (walking distance) to the bathhouse. The bathhouse is completely new, extremely clean and comfortable. The bathhouse has washer, dryers, and ATM and a coin machine (bring your own laundry detergent). Ms. Eschel at the front desk is the sweetest most helpful person I have ever met met in a while. The campground staff is extremely attentive and helpful. The campground is conveniently located near many wineries, parks, and downtown Ellijay. We recommend this campground 100%.
This is a beautiful campsite and me and my two children spent 7 days here. There's fishing and hiking and everyone here was very friendly and helpful. The bath house was more than clean. It was beautiful. Nice hot showers that seem to last forever. Maintenance and nightly drive-throughs that make you feel safe and secure. Water, electric, fire pit and picnic table at every lot. And great wifi!
Great campground friendly staff. Love the huge dog park! Good water pressure and nice sites. Love the pond and atmosphere. Would highly recommend on staying. We will definitely be our go to this summer. We are planning on spending our summer with diamond lure and our winter in Florida.
