A nice short hike on a well maintained trail to the upper falls. It was a perfect hike for the dog companion. Next time, we will do the lower falls as well.
Very beautiful aria for hiking and very well maintained park with many campers. Unfortunately waterfalls were smaller than we expected… Water streams were so small. Almost none. Maybe if you come after rain you would have better chance to enjoy waterfalls.
Very well maintained trail. If you don't have time to do both trails, I recommend the Upper Falls trail. It was easy there and back. In the way up, there is a creek you walk past, which is a nice view. Once at the falls it was very beautiful and relaxing. The Lower Falls trail was a short hike, but it was more difficult. It was not as pretty once there, and it was more cramped at the viewing area.
This is a great family hike or a nice sweetheart hike. Me and my husband went and we loved it we are going back when the mountain laurel are in bloom becouse there's so much of it. There are 2 falls upper and lower both are easy to get to but the upper is the best.
When I arrived there was this really quiet boy playing a banjo sitting on the bridge. Meant some nice folks some guy named Burt and his friends from city were on a river trip, Burt had a bow with him. He said up the river some nice guys told his friend he "sure had a pretty mouth"
