A great new day at the A-OK
The A-OK has NEW OWNERS! We’re thrilled to be here to show you our heartfelt southern hospitality … while we make exciting changes so your visits will be even more pleasurable. Meanwhile, we have lots to offer right now.
From jct I-75 (exit 315) & Hwy 156: Go 1 1/2 mi E on Hwy 156.
Now called Cedar Break RV Park and Campground, this is an excellent midway stopping point for us. Between KY and any destination we go to in FL or GA! Currently under new management, this dog friendly campground is transforming into a beautiful, well laid out destination!
One of the best camp grounds we’ve been to (and we’ve visited a lot)! Mrs Vicki is one of the sweetest and most kind hearted along with Mr Jamie!! The place itself has gone through nearly a complete renovation and they still continue to improve every day. They have propane on site (and cheaper than anyone else around I might add). Sites were easy to get in and out of. Playground is nice and there a bikes available to ride if you didn’t bring any. There are two ponds you’re welcome to fish and are able to keep the big catfish. Safety for you, your family, pets and rig are their number one priority. We will absolutely be visiting again!
Nice clean park. Enjoyed our stay on the way south. Friendly, accommodating staff.
We stayed here from January until the end of March. The first lot they were going to rent to us was too small for our camper. They let us rent one of their premium patio lots. I'm pretty sure those were for weekly and overnight. It was very nice. I don't usually use laundry mats. Theirs was so clean I used it often. Vicki is so nice and very helpful. The owners are remodeling and so far it looks great. I hope to get to go back when they're finished. I loved the campground cats and Peanut the Peacock.
Apparently, if you want to stay here for more than 4 nights, they have to run a background check on you. You have to send a a copy of your drivers license to an 800 # and they'll get back to you within 24 hours. Well, it's been 7 days and I can only imagine what they've done with my information. Based on recent reviews, we decided to stay elsewhere. Blessing in disguise, we suppose.
