We open April 1 and close November 1 of each year.
Whichever type of site you prefer, you will have modern hookups. We feature either 50 or 30 amp electric service, drinking water hookup, sewer hookup, cable TV hookup, and a picnic table at each site. All sites also have fire rings for your campfire enjoyment.

When we booked our sight we were told it would be one price and on our way up to the campground we received and email telling us it was now triple the price! Obviously we were not very happy. We spoke with the manager, and we were told there is nothing they could do. Needless to say not very happy. I consider this false advertising, beware.
This is one of our favorite North Georgia campgrounds. It's always restful, quiet, and peaceful. The new KOA management and service team are doing a great job of maintaining and improving the campground and its amenities and services. Our site, #157, backed up to a tiny creek and was level, well-spaced, and had convenient hookups. Really liked it! The only thing that keeps it from getting five stars is the spotty WiFi. It can be sometimes be plenty fast enough to stream or totally non-existent. That's a frustrating problem as cell service is poor and there is no cable or over-the-air TV service available. Tough during football season.
Camp ground is beautiful, clean and well manicured. RV sites are close together for a mountain camp ground. It would be an excellent place for friends to come and group camp. Many Things for kids to do outside and just be kids. The only down side is the large number of house Flys that sit waiting for you to open the camper door so they can fly in. As weather cools this should get better.
Camp is convenient to many various types of outdoor activities. Also they have new hi speed wifi available so bring streaming stick because there is no cable service.
BEWARE! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS!!! We’ve been coming here on and off for years but normally stay in a camper and have always loved it! We came with a huge group and stayed in the cabins. We woke up Saturday morning to bites all over me my daughter and my son. I went to make the bed and I found a bed bug on the mattress! I got it up put it in a bag and went immediately to the office. The “manager “ came to speak with me but he said he didn’t know what to say. He said they had no protocol for that as they had never had to deal with bed bugs And he had been there for 20 years. He also proceeds to tell me they have no other open cabins and offered no other accommodations or any means of help with our situation. The only thing he offered was to open the washers and dryers for us. He also told me that the manager over him wasn’t available to come there or by phone bc she had just had surgery but that he would have her call me the following Monday. I was honestly appalled and was trying to explain to him the severity of the situation and the amount of money it would cost if we didn’t get rid of them before returning home. I literally had the bed bug in a bag for him to see! He had no answers nor did he try and give me any resolution. He didn’t offer to comp our stay or find somewhere else for us to stay. Needless to say it took HOURS of washing and drying all our clothes and everything else we had brought along had to be thrown away. Sheets my kids toys baskets pillows some shoes ALL OF OUR LUGGAGE etc. this was a nightmare! So on Monday when I didn’t receive a call from the actual manager I called the 800 number to file a complaint. They told me they would have her reach out. Later that day she called and this is where I became very upset! She asked me what happened and the proceeded to tell me that they were highly trained in bed bugs and that the mattresses were encased (they absolutely were not) and that they had the cabins routinely treated for bed bugs and I then told her that the manager who lived on site said quite the opposite. He said they had no protocol whatsoever for bed bugs etc. she then tells me they had a company come and check along with a dog and no bed bugs were found. She even asked me if I was sure it wasn’t a fly… I had the bug in a bag no ma’am it wasn’t a FLY! She also said she went and inspected the cabins herself which I knew couldn’t be true if she couldn’t leave her house due to surgery. She told me there would be no compensation for our stay nor for the $500 plus of things that had to be thrown away. I asked to speak with someone above her and she refused. She then says that she will send me $100. That is laughable considering I paid over $700 to stay and had more than $500 worth of things that had to be thrown away! I told her I did not want the $100 I wanted to speak with her boss and she again refused. I called the 800 number back and they told me she was the only person that they would put on the phone for me to speak with. No one will help me the customer service is TERRIBLE and this has been quite the nightmare for me and my family!
The cabins are extremely clean and comfortable. The entire camp is clean and well maintained . The staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store is reasonably priced. We camp frequently in the area and this is now our choice place to camp
