Owner not taking care of campground roads. Roads were full of potholes and mud everywhere. Roads need gravel and scraping. Great place to take your Class A mud running.
Our first time here for 4th of July. We came with friends and had the best time. We loved all the events they had. We were never bored! Loved karaoke contest too. The free grill out and treats all weekend were so wonderful. We are booked for next year already. Yes the spots are close together but with the view you get how can you complain! Front desk people were the nicest.
I went there to see the band they hired for the guess- 2nd Chance 2020, which was great! I got a chance to walk around and check out the grounds- I can't wait to book a weekend stay. I'll let you know about the cabins and staff after I stay there. So far so beautiful- the river and falls are worth a day trip.
I liked this campground. Our campsite was in the B section on the best part of the river, in my opinion. The campsite were a little closer than ideal but still a great location on the river for full hook-ups. The upper side of the campground has some work going on, but several sites need to be cleaned up.
We stayed there this past weekend on a beautiful riverside site (9/22 - 9/24). They had already put out Halloween decorations as well. We were very excited! We had a great time playing in the river, getting in the pool, checking out the decorations, and taking advantage of the onsite arcade. However, this review isn't about the wonderful amenities. I wanted to complement the front desk and, most of all, Wes (maintenance). When we arrived at our campsite, I realized that I had forgotten our stabilizer tool and we were missing the battery to our cordless drill. Embarrassing! I talked to the front desk and they said they would call Wes. He met us at our site with an extra drill to help us out. Two days later, at check-out, he helped us out again. We were very appreciative and it really added to the overall amazing experience. Thanks guys!
