I've called this place within the last 2 days over 15 times at different times of the day to book, and NO ONE answers or returns your phone call. I've left a dozen messages and no response. Save yourself the hassle. Online, it says "call for reservations" and they have no one answering the lines. ALPS family campgrounds answers on the first try if you're looking for a reliable place to take your family.
This RV Park is about 80% full time residents who have what looks like the nicer sites. It looks like more of a Mobile Home Park. It's pretty but, just after a rain very, very muddy. We were in site R54 which was not bad, only had one neighbor. The handout with the rules on it is unlegiable therefore useless. T-Mobile cell signal is juist about none, nno 5G but LTE 2 bars. No GPS will get you here safely, you have to follow their directions to avoid low clearances.
There car shows wasn,t bad ,but the vendors maded people wait I've a hour to get a bacon and egg sandwich . Plus the cook was swearing at the lady taken the orders. Plus they ran out of food. Not enough eggs ,or hot dogs plus not enough burgers along with burger buns. Plus no coffee. After waiting 70 minutes for a bacon and egg sandwich . They didn,t have enough eggs. That vendor is a joke. Pleases ,pleases never let them do any services for the car show. There services sucks like there food. I finally got my money back . Along with many other unhappy customers at the car show. I won,t ever go to another car show at frosty acres camp site . It was very unorganized.
Been coming here for over 15 years, it’s very close to our house so if we forget something it’s not far to grab stuff we need. Great neighbors and fun things to do with other campers. We have a great family atmosphere here. Always someone willing to lend a hand. Potlucks are always a great Saturday tradition. Very relaxing place to come and unwind. 😁
Bit of a climbing qualifier to get in but good sized spots. Easy to park in. 20 minutes from a couple towns.
We enjoyed our stay upstate. Close to so many good hiking trails!
