My family and I loved the Max V Shaul campgrounds. We stayed in early October 2020. The trip up there from NYC was spectacular during the fall season. Our site was clean, pretty large (drive in site-fit 2 cars.) and canopied with trees with varying colored leaves. The bathroom was immaculate and modern. It does get very cold at night and we heard some animals howl but they seemed to be far from us. We always felt safe and welcomed. They do allows dogs with a copy of vaccination. They don’t have a store on site.

Stayed overnight on 9/24/22.

Nice campsite with new bathrooms and a large field with a view of the eastern sky if you want to do some stargazing. Have a good mattress pad however as some of the campsites are very rocky.

This place is awesome. Sites are a good size and spread out. Clean newer showers and restrooms. Very peaceful 🏕️💚

One of the best campgrounds I've been too. Every year it gets better. We rented 2 camp sites due to our large family and spend anywhere from 3 nights to 5 nights every summer. The showers and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. It's very quiet and isolated. Trails are nice. They even have corn hole! We will be back next summer!

This is a really great park. You can camp there and all that, but the picnic area with a pavilion is up for rent and is really nice. Picnic tables, charcoal grills, enough field to have a football game a playground for the kids, and lots of shade where you want it and sunny where you want it. All and all, a great place to have an event
