Park your RV at this beautiful Texas winery. With 7 pet friendly, full hook-up RV spots, this is a great place to lay your head for a night, or a week! We offer perfectly level concrete pads, a fire ring, a 2 minute walk to our winery, and a 1/4 mile walk to waterfront restaurants. There is a small pier on site to view the stunning sunsets. You can even catch a glimpse of an alligator, if you're lucky. We offer wine tours, and good hospitality. Hope to see you soon!
Frascone Winery was opened in 2003 by Jim Frascone and Kathy Tran. Unfortunately in 2008, Hurricane Ike destroyed the property. But they didn’t let that get them down. In 2014, they were able to rebuild their winery across the street from the old location. They held a grand re-opening on August 31, 2014 with over 100 people attending. They’ve been going strong ever since. In 2015, Jim took up beekeeping to produce honey for mead, which is a honey-based wine. The owners attempt to source as many of their ingredients from Texas as possible. Roughly seventy percent of their grapes are Texas-grown. The fruits for their fruit-based wines come from a New York company that produces freshly-squeezed juices not from concentrate. They also offer tours of their winery to any visitors. Anahuac, Texas is situated right on the beautiful Trinity Bay.
This is a must stop if you are in this area. There wine is excellent and the owners are nice. Mr. James and his wife have been very good to us.
This place was one of those finds you accidentally come across and are just glad you did.
Mr. Frascone was super friendly and eager to assist, even letting us sample some of the wine. The wine was AMAZING and they have such a unique variety to choose from. I took home a Cabernet as well as a mead called Twilight that consisted of raw honey and Chamomile, instantly became my wife’s favorite.
I have yet to try their spaghetti or Pho but will be back to do so & will update!
Jim our host was awesome! Loved hearing his stories on wine making! Loved the alligator egg rolls!!! Beautiful sunset off the dock!
We have visited twice now and it is an amazing place, owned and run by an amazing family. Wonderful wines and meads anddelicious Vietnamese food. The Alligator egg rolls are amazing!
If you are ever around Anahuac TX you will want to stop in to Frascone Winery. Jim has been there for many years. His wine is excellent and their Alligator egg rolls are delicious. I wasn't sure if we would like them so we ordered one order. Wish we would have ordered two cuz they are so so good! We took a walk to the pier and watched the sun set. We had full hookups too!! Very dog friendly. Off leash to Rome and go anywhere on the property.
