About Campground

Come for the honey and stay for the mead! We are two sister companies located on the same property. WildFlyer Mead Co is made with BeeWeaver Honey right here at the farm. We have porches and picnic areas to enjoy the great outdoors, along with a retail space and tasting room.

Quiet time at the farm is 10 PM - 7 AM. Each site also has a picnic table to help you easily enjoy the outdoors.

The Tasting Room is open Thursday - Sunday and the mead is available at the gift shop (BeeGoods Mercantile) 7 days a week.

BeeWeaver Honey Farm was established in 1888 and is the oldest commercial beekeeping operation in Texas. WildFlyer Mead Co opened the tasting room & production space in spring 2020 - the perfect addition to the farm!

We offer weekly public tours and tastings. We also have options for private tours, classes, experiences, and more. Join us on our Observation Bee Deck as a beekeeper works a live hive bees. You will learn the basic biology of a hive and the essential tools and skills of beekeeping. Please pre-book your tour or experience on the education & experience section of our website: [beeweaver.com]()

We have been buying honey from them for a few years now. We bring our small dogs and make a day of it. We live in Friendswood. I had some business in Waco and we had just run out of honey a few days earlier. I was unaware of the winter change of store hours. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday. I stopped in and noticed this. I was let down. The manager, a very nicevyoung lady came out and introduced herself ,asked if she could help me. I explained myself. She invited me in and I knew exactly what and where it was. I was in and out. She didn't have to come out but did. Thank you so much for being so kind. We will continue to buy and visit here. Love this place. Big thanks to the manager.

What a cool experience! This is. Such a fun place for everyone to go visit! They have loads of options for mead. Then they also have a dining truck outside and lots of little shopping opportunities. It's super family friendly and so unique!

We stayed here in a campsite and really enjoyed the experience. The mead selection was really good. There were flavors to choose for anyone's palette. The ground are great for all to enjoy, whether you are a couple enjoying a day out or a family with the kids getting some fresh air and time together. Live Music was a bonus! Thank you!

My wife and I had a beautiful day at the farm. We especially loved the hive tour with Roosevelt. He’s been there for 58 years and really knows his stuff! I highly recommend making the trip out.
