National forest. Free dry camping. Wonderful peaceful place. Bring bug spray but other than that if passing through stop and enjoy.
Had a great time camping at porter lake and fishing just would be nice if I had a good woman to spend with me.
Cute little primitive camping. Water and primitive toilet available. Beautiful drive through Apalachicola National Forest
Porter Lake Campground in Apalachicola National Forest is right off the side of Forest Road FH13. Free no fee, inclined road down into a dispersed area with no clear marked sites, 1 vault toilet, water tap and a few previous fire spots. Swampy water area under a bridge with a small boat or kayak ramp. Att cell service was good. We stayed overnight in December waiting on a site at Camel Lake. 1 tenter and a pop-up camper was there. Imagine the mosquitos are bad in season.
