It's in sopchoppy, yeah really. Great park, better than anything n tallahassee florida. River runs through park with boat slip n rv parking. If you have kids, they will love this park, gym park, water, bridge across water. Excellent. You will enjoy this park. Great park to take dogs for a walk. Beautiful bridge that is about 100 yards long , right along edge of the river. Fantastic kids playground.

Small town, big park. Great place to bring the family for a day, or even a week! The campground shares space with the town park, offering inexpensive camping,a playhouse, stage and river access.

Camping is first come, first serve with no reservations. The bathrooms and showers are dated, but well kept and spotless. With 20 or 30 amp services, some sites have full hookups as well.

Downtown is a few blocks away, and has a taproom and a Dollar General that is nicely stocked.

I rode my e-bike out here from Tallahassee and camped for the night primitive style. There is water and electricity with regular 120 volt outlets for charging your bike. The pavilion in the middle has bathrooms and showers. Nice location right on the river and close to "downtown" Sopchoppy. The town has a small grocery store, Civic Brewing for drinks and when I was there a food truck (Lex n Roll) with sushi and Thai food. All were great, but not much else, so you may want to bring your own camp food if that doesn't sound good to you.
