Can’t say enough good things about the campground. Wonderful staff and location. We really enjoyed our weekend here a few weeks ago. Nice and quiet! Not a whole lot around the town, so make sure and take what you need when you go.
Love the solitude and quiet. Will be a go to place for us from now on and have already told many people about. Lovely/Wonderful
What a picturesque, quaint little spot this was to spend a long weekend at! If you need peace, quiet & relaxation overlooking the Gulf, this is it. The sunsets are spectacular and the site owner/manager is a sweetheart. We will definitely come back soon to this hidden treasure!
We had a great time at the Old Pavilion RV Park. Lin was very kind and helpful with both service, reservations and even scallop advice.
The park was quiet and had ample electric and water for our 30 foot travel trailer. There is a boat ramp on site and if your boat is large or to much draft the public launch ramp is right down the street. There is also a fuel station just to the north that has most items you would need. Fishing supplies, snorkel gear as well as RV and Hardware.
We will certainly be visiting Old Pavilion RV Park again next year.
We loved Keaton Beach.
***Notes*** the Bath house got taken out in the storm and is no longer there.
Dog Friendly
WiFi was available but dont expect to stream anything. Will also be slower during heavy traffic times.
T-Mobile cell service was also spotty in the area land side, however was great while out on the boat during fishing and scalloping.
There is also a nice beach/park with pier down the street.
If you are looking for a place to unwind, unplug and be as you are, this is the place. We stumbled upon this gem and decided to take the 2.5 hour drive and stay in our new camper. It was hands down the most relaxing place. It was something honestly we didn’t know we needed. We brought our bikes, rode down to the beach, fished, cooked out and enjoyed the incredible sunsets every night. We throughly enjoyed Ms. Lynn and Spy too. All the spots had a view of the gulf, and everything was well maintained. Make sure you have everything you need as there aren’t any shops around or restaurants but to be honest it was so refreshing to get away from all the literal hustle and bustle that life has become. We will definitely be back and are so grateful to have found this gem.
