We enjoyed the walk around gator lake. Saw 1 alligator and a momma heron feeding baby birds in a nest and turtles on a log. Then over to the lagoon on the walkways to enjoy the boats coming and going. Disappointed no gift shop. Would rather give them the $ for a Christmas ornament or t shirt than a local t shirt shop.

Entry fee was $8 per car & well worth the price for a beautiful afternoon exploring. There were at least two places to rent bikes & I wish we had. There are several very clean restrooms available & drinks/snacks are easy to obtain. We saw lots of folks coming in to just enjoy the beach & the piers for for fishing. Beautiful views all around & lots of picnic tables too. There was an area on the bay side that allowed boats to dock & have access to restrooms & the convenience store. We highly recommend a visit!

We visited on a Saturday in January. No one there but it was a cool day (40s). Gorgeous park. Plenty of parking. Easy to navigate around. Fun to watch big ships going through the channel. Beautiful beach.

This is a great place to camp (RV, tent, van). Well maintained. Nice bath houses. Access to great hiking trails, beach, boat ramp, wildlife (abundant deer), camp store, pier stores have golf cart & bike rentals. Small wildlife museum where you check in is great for kids. RV pads are spacious with campsite grill and fire ring. Also, check the dates for a shuttle out to Shell Island.

We loved St. Andrews State Park, we didn’t want to leave. It was so nice to sit at our beautiful campsite and watch the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. It was a lot of fun to go to schooner’s restaurant and watch the beautiful sunset and watch the restaurant shoot off the cannon at sunset. We loved all the wildlife roaming around in the park and the beaches were so beautiful soft white sand, everything you want to do is really close to the park. Oh did I say we didn’t want to leave, we can’t wait to go back. This place is a must to put on your bucket list Twice!!
