We’ve stayed at KOA Perry now twice while traveling to southern FL. Great location and most spaces seem very nice and comfortable for TV travelers. “Most sites” as our first visit we had a pull them that was not even close to level, 2nd visit we paid for a back in spot as we had remembered those were large with patio and nice chairs and even a porch swing. We didn’t get that, but we did get a much nicer large pull thru although it’s not what we had purchased it was very nice. Office staff was wonderful, but other staff not so much and probably why not in the office 🤦‍♂️. The Perry area is quite nice, if we travel that way again a longer stay would be nice and we absolutely would stay here again.

In my mid-50s, I embarked on a 1400-mile solo bicycle journey with my 48-pound dog in tow. After a collision with a drunk driver left us stranded in freezing temperatures, we finally reached a KOA campground in Perry, FL. Despite having proof of reservation and essential gear worth over $1500, the owner assumed we were homeless due to our damaged equipment and refused us entry. Despite pleas and evidence, she remained unmoved, even refusing package deliveries. This discriminatory treatment marred an otherwise incredible journey where we encountered kindness from strangers.

The people at this KOA are nice. They have a great store with a nice beer and wine selection for a camp ground. The sites are nice and shady. There are beautiful oak trees. We did not use the pool or other facilities but thw pool may be heated as there were swimmers in it and the weather was chilly when we were there. They have great internet. We were able to stream without any problems on our smart TV. Many of the lots are dirt so when it rains it can be muddy. We been here several times when passing through on our way up north.

We spent 8 days at this KOA. It's a beautiful park with clean and private bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sites are good size.

We would have given a 5 star rating except for a couple of issues. The first one was when we got to our site we noticed several dead bats or mice under the picnic table. Also, we don't appreciate looking at political flags during this divisive time in our country. There were big political flags at several sites. When we camp we would prefer a political-free environment.
