The front spots aren’t amazing but they aren’t bad. When you pull up it doesn’t look great and just looks like a parking lot but it isn’t. There are many other spots in the back and off to the sides that are quite nice. They have a great rec room with books, TV, a large movie selection, games, pool, ping pong, etc. The showers are small but they’re very clean, they get hot, and the hot water lasts for a while. The laundry is nice. Washer is 2.50 and dryer is 2.00. They do ask that you only use two machines at a time since the laundry room is a bit small. It is near an air base so heads up it will get loud a few times a day when the jets pass over. It’s a nice place to stay and very close to base. If loud noises bother you there are the jets and multiple very loud speakers throughout the camp (it’s a famcamp so they play taps, national anthem, etc.) it didn’t bother me but it’s something to know before you go. I’d stay here again.

My daughter recently moved to Panama City and needed a place to stay until her house was ready. She and my wife stayed at the Tyndall AFB FamCamp for nearly two weeks and had the best time of their lives.

The location was perfect for her getting back and forth to work and very convenient to most amenities; grocery stores, the beach. restaurants and medical facilities if needed.

The living facilities were great; clean, well stocked with necessities, friendly neighbors and a great view of wildlife.

I want to thank Diane and the Tyndall AFB FamCamp Staff for the wonderful Customer Service, super Attitude and the genuine Professionalism displayed in their jobs and for taking care of my family. Thank You!

I went inside to introduce myself regarding my place of employment. The people in the office were very friendly.I passed the office and seen the area, it was very well kept, seemed like a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Thanks to the people in office again! Kindness goes a long way!!
